Creatures
Meet the creatures of Wales found in The Legend of the Corgi series.

Adar Llwch Gwin
A large golden beak and matching eyes adorned a white-feathered head. The front legs were covered with brown feathers that ended in huge, clawed feet. Massive wings protruded from each side of the creature’s body. The feathers eventually gave way to fur that trailed across its back and down muscular back legs. A long tail whipped back and forth behind it.
Coblynau
The creature had beady eyes set beneath bushy eyebrows. Pointed ears and nose stood out sharply from a pale face. White hair stuck out from under a helmet that had a candle attached to the top. The rest of the body followed, until the creature was standing full in front of them. He was about the height of the fairies. A pickaxe propped against his shoulder was covered in dirt like the rest of him.

Gwyllgi
Along the outskirts and dark alleys of human villages, it is said an enormous beast roams under the light of the full moon. With fur black as night, eyes red as burning flame and teeth so sharp they can tear through stone, the Gwyllgi is considered the most terrifying creature in our land.
The beast only comes out at night when the moon is full, searching for victims to quench its blood lust. Some say it is guarding something. Others say that if you come upon it, you must make a sacrifice or it will haunt you for the rest of your life. But most believe it is an omen, an omen of death.
Ellyll
The Ellyllon (ellyll singular) are magical elves, slightly smaller than fairies. These creatures usually live a solitary lifestyle, although they are ruled by a queen. They reside in the woods where they eat a variety of fungi, including fairy butter, a special fungus that can be found in rotting trees.
A distinctive fashion trait of the ellyllon is wearing gloves made of the foxglove flower, a powerful sedative that can render those who inhale it unconscious.
